For Open Day we had a big bake off, making
many lovely cakes. We had to restrain ourselves from eating up everything right away. Throughout
the open day we had a staff cake tally, Isaac won with 14 pieces of cake
(including scones). We had many guests who enjoyed seeing Camas, exploring,
eating cake and taking part in climbing or kayaking. I remember one boy
continuously asking if he could capsize. When he did, he was quite surprised
how cold the water actually was. I quite enjoyed seeing kids and adults exploring the islands, getting to know Camas better and having a good time.
